RAMROD 2025 course update

The 2025 RAMROD course features a clockwise loop around Mount Rainier, starting and finishing in Enumclaw. Due to ongoing road construction on SR 123 and restricted access through Stevens Canyon, this year’s route includes a detour via the Skate Creek Road bypass.

Key Route Details:

  • Distance: ~159 miles (256 km)

  • Elevation Gain: ~9,940 ft (3,030 m)

  • Route Direction: Clockwise

Notable Change for 2025:

  • Skate Creek Detour: Due to the SR 123 closure, riders will bypass the traditional Stevens Canyon segment and instead descend to Packwood, then climb up Skate Creek Road toward Ashford.
